Dr Vimee Bindra is an endometriosis specialist and the team leader of Cope Clinics. With extensive national and international training, Dr Bindra is one of the few females worldwide that deals with endometriosis.
Dr Vimee Bindra’s education
Dr Vimee Bindra is a consultant gynaecologist surgeon and one of the leading endometriosis surgeons from India. The first surgeon in her family, Dr Bindra managed to achieve top results in her work. Her medical training took her to countries such as France where alongside renowned surgeons she learnt to master advanced minimally invasive techniques.
She got her medical degree from the R G kar Medical College and she went on to complete 3 years post-graduation in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr Vimee Bindra is an internationally renowned SRC accredited endometriosis specialist and one of India’s top minimally-invasive consultant gynaecology surgeons. Dr Bindra is the first one to receive Master Surgeon in Multidisciplinary in Endometriosis Care (MSMEC) accreditation in India, and second female surgeon worldwide to receive this accreditation. She is also a video-vetted excision endometriosis surgeon.
Research and academics
Dr Bindra is a keen writer and researcher and has so far been the main authors of multiple scientific articles including case presentations for sciatic endometriosis. Willing to teach the young generations of doctors and to share her knowledge, Dr Bindra is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences including World Congress on Endometriosis.
Founder of Endometriosis Foundation of India
Dr Vimee Bindra is not only a great surgeon, but is also a keen advocate. With this in mind she founded the Endometriosis Foundation of India, an NGO that focuses on training gynaecologists and other specialists in endometriosis.
