Dr Vimee Bindra is an internationally SRC accredited renowned endometriosis specialist and one of India’s top consultant gynaecology surgeons. Dr Bindra is the first one to receive Master Surgeon in Multidisciplinary in Endometriosis Care (MSMEC) accreditation in India, and second female surgeon worldwide to receive this accreditation. Dr Bindra holds certifications in gynaecological minimally invasive surgery and robotic surgery. Dr Bindra gained her place in the top gynaecologists surgeons not only through her impressive results and expertise, but also through her commitment to raise awareness of this debilitating disease. Born and raised in India, she knew from a young age that she wanted to be a doctor. An extraordinary healthcare professional, passionate about helping patients become pain free, Dr Bindra has attended multiple training courses and she is constantly investing in her development. She has also done work exchange in the second largest endometriosis centre in Europe, performing surgery for deep infiltrating endometriosis, alongside worldwide renowned endometriosis specialists.

Dr Vimee Bindra has vast surgical experience in different types of gynecological illnesses using laparoscopic, robotic and hysteroscopic surgrical methods. Having performed thousands of surgeries, Dr Bindra is passionate about sharing her experience and knowledge with her peers and often takes part in training courses alongside some of the top-name endometriosis surgeons in the world.

Dr Bindra is also the founder and president of Endometriosis Foundation of India and has held various educational events for patients. Through her work, Dr Bindra complies with national and international recommendations on the management of this disease.
Education and training
She completed her bachelor degree in medicine at the RG Kar Medical College in 2003, followed by a MS in Obstetrics and Gynecology fromKolkata. She also holds a Diploma in Advanced Gynecological Endoscopy from BEAMS Hospitals, Mumbai under the guidance of Dr. Rakesh Sinha and a certificate in Advanced Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy from France. She has received her Advanced Reproductive Technology Training from Ruby Hall, Pune and from Homerton University Hospital, London (UK). Along with her medical education she has done Masters in Hospital Administration from ICFAI. She also specialises in cosmetic gynaecology and did her Fellowship in Cosmetic Gynaecology from American Aesthetic Board, Dubai.
